This privacy policy applies to apps published by Ridgeline Labs ("we", "us", "our"), including Solunar Trail and any future apps we release.

Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

Our apps may access the following data, which is stored only on your device:

• Location data — GPS coordinates used for tracking, compass orientation, solar/lunar calculations, and solunar activity periods. Location data is stored locally when you save a tracking session.
• Sensor data — Accelerometer, magnetometer, and barometer readings used for compass heading and atmospheric pressure display. This data is not stored.
• Saved locations and tracking sessions — Stored locally on your device. You can delete them at any time from within the app.
• App preferences — Settings such as theme, units, and map type are stored locally on your device.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may use the following third-party services:

• Google Maps SDK — Used to display maps. When you view a map, map tile data is loaded from Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies to this data: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third parties. All data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export it (e.g., sharing a GPX file).

Analytics and Advertising

Our apps do not include any analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.

Permissions

Our apps may request the following permissions:

• Location (GPS) — Required for tracking, compass, and solar/lunar calculations
• Foreground service — Required to continue GPS tracking when the app is in the background

Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
