This privacy policy applies to the HandyYi Android app, published by Ridgeline Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Summary

HandyYi does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, on your device or anywhere else. The app contains no networking code, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising. It cannot phone home because it has no ability to phone anywhere.

Information We Collect

None. HandyYi does not collect any information about you or your device.

Local Storage

HandyYi stores the following on your device only, using standard Android preferences:

• App preferences — your chosen theme (light / dark / system), text size, yarrow-stalk animation toggle, and content language (Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / English).

That is the complete list. No divination results, no usage history, no identifiers. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

Permissions

HandyYi requests no permissions beyond the Android defaults granted to every app. It does not access location, contacts, storage, camera, microphone, or any sensor.

Network Access

HandyYi makes no network connections. The full hexagram text and all translations are bundled with the app.

Third-Party Services and SDKs

HandyYi uses no third-party services or SDKs. There is no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no advertising network, no crash reporter.

Data Sharing

We do not share any data because we do not have any data to share.

Children’s Privacy

HandyYi is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no information at all, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children either.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
